George Sarrigeorgiou

Greece

George Sarrigeorgiou is a Vocational Education Teacher and Researcher from Greece, with extensive experience in technical and vocational education, particularly in heating and cooling systems. Since 2000, he has worked in Vocational Education, while actively participating in European cooperation and lifelong learning programmes, including Erasmus+ and Comenius. He has contributed to numerous European projects focusing on digital education, STEM, robotics, sustainability, innovation and teacher training. His professional interests include the development of innovative teaching methods, digital competences and the promotion of inclusive and collaborative learning environments.







Kyriaki Kaltzidou

Greece

Kyriaki Kaltzidou is a tenured secondary education teacher at a Vocational High School in the Sector of Electrical Engineering. She has also served in other levels of vocational education (EPAL, EPAS OAED, IEK) as a tenured and substitute teacher. Additionally, she has served as an Apprenticeship Coordinator at a Vocational High School (EPAL). She possesses extensive teaching experience in higher education as a University Fellow and Laboratory Associate at the University of West Attica (UNIWA) / TEI of Piraeus (2002– 2023), as well as in secondary vocational education. Concurrently, she has worked as an Electrical Engineer in technical companies and industries, while demonstrating notable writing and research activity at conferences, with an emphasis on energy utilization and environmental protection. She is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of West Attica (UNIWA), focusing on waste management and recycling for electricity generation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the TEI of Piraeus and a Master’s degree in "Applied Policies & Techniques of Environmental Protection" (UNIWA & University of Cyprus), and has completed pedagogical training at ASPETE.
