Digital Tools: GoogleMeet andTellfy 15 Google Meet will be the primary platform for one-on-one video conferences. It was chosen for its ease of use, wide availability (accessible from browsers or mobile devices), and connection quality even in environments with limited bandwidth. Given that Internet connectivity can be challenging in some rural areas, lightweight and reliable tools are prioritised. If necessary, coordination with participants will be arranged to ensure that they have the technical means (mobile phone or computer and connection) to join the video calls. If any mentee does not have sufficient connectivity at home, alternatives will be explored, such as providing WiFi-enabled spaces (e.g., telecentres, municipal libraries, rural youth centres, etc.) so that they can connect from there. Ensuring digital inclusion is key to the success of this online mentoring programme. For its part, the Tellfy application will be used as the backbone of written communication and mentoring project management. This app provides a secure (it complies with high data protection standards) and functional environment for projects such as this. Through Tellfy, each mentor-mentee pair will have their own private chat room where they can converse asynchronously, share everyday concerns or small victories. At the same time, the app allows for the creation of different communication groups: for example, a general group for all participants where the technical team will share important news or reminders, groups for mentors only to facilitate feedback between them, and groups by territory (region) if you wish to coordinate local activities. Another useful feature will be the integrated activity calendar: it can be used to announce online group training sessions, talks or even suggest face-to-face meetings when feasible, and participants can easily confirm their attendance. Tellfy also allows you to launch quick surveys to gather opinions (for example, to choose times for a group meeting) and send evaluation questionnaires after each mentoring session, so that we can track the progress of each mentor/mentee pair. In summary, combining Google Meet for live interactions and Tellfy for ongoing communication and organisation will provide a robust infrastructure for these remote mentoring sessions to run smoothly and effectively.
