The Fundación AYO aims to promote and assist individuals at risk of exclusion due to physical, economic, or cultural reasons, especially focusing on youth.

The foundation encourages social and collaborative economies, technological development and innovation with the transfer of such advancements to the productive sector as a driving force for business productivity and competitiveness.

Additionally, it supports social entrepreneurship and its ecosystem of training and financing, promotes and develops economic, social, and environmental sustainability, provides assistance and social inclusion, facilitates job placement, fosters values of a civic, educational, formative, and cultural nature, and promotes social action and volunteering. All these efforts contribute to the defense of human rights in general, the dignity of individuals, and the right to lead a dignified life. In essence, the Foundation pursues any goals deemed most appropriate over its lifespan in the interest of society.

Since 2019, Fundación AYO develops IMPULSO. IMPULSO is an intergenerational social educational mentoring project involving senior volunteers – mentors – and vulnerable youth – mentees. Senior volunteers contribute by leveraging their experience to support their mentees academically and personally, sharing knowledge, and, most importantly, dedicating their time.

The mentors become positive role models, a source of motivation, and encouragement for the young individuals. In turn, the mentees also provide inspiration and insights to the mentors by sharing their perspectives, spontaneity, and experiences. The project collaborates closely with educational and residential entities, serving as key partners.
