KHEIRON holds its transnational meeting in Rhodes to advance intergenerational social mentoring

On 13 July 2026, the partners of the KHEIRON – Social Mentoring without Borders project gathered in Rhodes, Greece, for the Second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2), hosted by PARAGON-eduTech at the Mediterranean Hotel. The meeting brought together representatives from PARAGON-eduTech (Greece), Fundación AYO – Accelerating Youth Opportunities (Spain), Fundación Siglo22 (Spain), and Goethe-Institut e.V. (Germany) to review the progress achieved so far and coordinate the final stages of the project.

Throughout the meeting, partners assessed the implementation of the project's activities, with particular attention to the development of the Methodological Framework for Mentors and the implementation of the Mentors' Training Programme. Discussions focused on the completion of the training modules and supporting materials, the delivery of online and face-to-face mentoring activities, and the lessons learned during the pilot phase.

The consortium also reviewed the project's quality monitoring and impact assessment, analysing the evaluation data collected so far and identifying the remaining evidence required for the final reporting phase. In addition, partners discussed the current dissemination activities, including the project website, multilingual resources, newsletters, and social media, while agreeing on the final communication actions to maximise the visibility of the project's results.

An important part of the meeting was dedicated to the long-term sustainability of KHEIRON. Partners explored strategies for ensuring the continued use of the project's outputs beyond its lifetime, including the creation of a European network of mentors and opportunities for future collaboration.

The meeting concluded with a review of the remaining administrative and financial tasks, clarification of partner responsibilities, and agreement on the final deadlines to ensure the successful completion of the project.

The TPM2 represented another significant milestone for KHEIRON, reinforcing the strong collaboration between project partners and confirming their shared commitment to promoting high-quality social mentoring practices across Europe.
