On 15 July 2026, the KHEIRON consortium organised its Multiplier Event during the ICICTE 2026 Conference in Rhodes, Greece. Held under the title "Social Mentoring Without Borders: Empowering Young People Through Guidance, Inclusion and Well-being", the event brought together educators, researchers and project partners to explore how social mentoring can foster inclusion, personal development and well-being among young people.

Moderated by Anastasia (Nancy) Pyrini from PARAGON-eduTech (Greece), the session presented the main achievements of the KHEIRON project and provided participants with practical insights into the methodologies and resources developed throughout the initiative.

The event opened with the presentation "Building Capacity for Social Mentoring: Training Mentors for Inclusive and Supportive Communities – Lessons Learned from the KHEIRON Training Programme", delivered by Anastasia Pyrini. The presentation highlighted the project's mentor training programme, reflecting on the experiences gained during its implementation and the importance of equipping mentors with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to support diverse learners and communities.

The second presentation, "The KHEIRON Toolkit for Social Mentoring: Resources, Good Practices and Digital Tools for Sustainable Mentoring Initiatives", was delivered by Mariano Sanz Prieto from Fundación Siglo22 (Spain). The session introduced the KHEIRON Toolkit, a comprehensive collection of educational resources designed to support mentors in developing effective, inclusive and sustainable mentoring practices. Participants discovered the toolkit's learning modules, practical resources, digital tools, examples of good practices and interactive materials that can be adapted to different educational and community contexts.

The event concluded with an open discussion facilitated by Anastasia Pyrini, where participants exchanged ideas, reflected on the role of mentoring in promoting inclusion and social participation, and shared perspectives on the future implementation and sustainability of mentoring initiatives across Europe.

The Multiplier Event provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate the project's outcomes, engage with the international educational community attending ICICTE 2026, and reinforce the importance of collaboration in building supportive mentoring networks that empower young people and strengthen more inclusive communities.

As the KHEIRON project enters its final phase, the consortium remains committed to ensuring that its resources, methodologies and training materials continue to support educators, mentors and organisations working to create meaningful and sustainable mentoring opportunities throughout Europe.
