These four cases, each in a different field (social education, social community, business), provide us with common lessons: The importance of measuring and publishing results: Everyone rigorously tracks indicators of success (whether self-esteem, academic grades, or business income) and uses that information to improve and attract support. This confirms that ‘evaluating impact is one of the keys to the future of mentoring,’ as noted by the Ibero-American Mentoring Network. Long-term relationships and community strengthen impact: Examples can be seen everywhere of relationships that endure beyond the formal framework, and of mentor/mentee networks that become communities of practice or mutual support. Mentoring thus transcends one-off interventions and becomes a permanent part of the social fabric. Adaptability and innovation: These are programmes that have been able to adapt (e.g., digitisation during COVID, incorporation of new topics according to emerging needs) and innovate (whether by combining mentoring with training or creating new roles for participants). This keeps them relevant and current. Training and support for quality: They devote efforts to training mentors well, establishing clear agreements, supervising the process, and providing support when problems arise. 27 Evaluación del impacto y sostenibi l idad de la mentoría
